Google Fan? cHeck google’s black version

Heard the saying once you go black you never turn back? Well due to the post written by Mark Ontkush;

Black Google Would Save 750 Megawatt-hours a Year

Google went black! So what this with google going black? Read below for more information;

Why did google go Black?

According to the post when your screen is white, an empty word page or the famous Google search Page, your computer consumes 74 watts as to comparison when its black, consuming a decrease of 15 watts to 59 watts. Mark Ontkush in his post stated that the energy saving that would be achieved if Google (the great/famous search engine) went Black (black screen), as it had a huge following contributing to the number of page views accomplished each day..would reach 750 mega watts/hour (yes ! per hour!). So in response to his post our beloved Google created her own version, the black version of google. Presenting its very own version is Blackle;
